Chapter 01 - September 2023
Staybook began with four owned hotels in Paharganj, Delhi. Running these properties first-hand gave us a direct understanding of hotel operations, guest expectations, pricing pressure, commission structures, and the gap between what travellers see and what hoteliers actually receive.
Chapter 02 - Platform Foundation
Staybook expanded beyond its own hotels and began onboarding partner properties. We focused on hotel listings, direct hotel relationships, dependable booking flows, customer support, and early technology integrations for pricing and availability.
Chapter 03 - Distribution + New Verticals
Staybook strengthened its hotel supply network and began expanding beyond hotels into tours, activities, attraction tickets, and local experiences - laying the foundation for a multi-vertical platform.
Chapter 04 - Multi-Vertical Platform
By 2026, Staybook had grown into a multi-vertical travel platform. Today, we offer: Hotels, Tours, Attraction tickets, Activities, Transfers, Local and international experiences.
In March 2026, Staybook connected with a government-backed digital ticketing network to bring verified travel inventory - including heritage and monument tickets - onto our platform, alongside our existing hotel, tour, and activity supply.
Our outbound offering for Indian travellers has also continued to grow in 2026, with more international hotels and experiences added to the platform. Booking volumes and transaction value have grown steadily through the first half of the year, across hotels, tours, and activities.
Chapter 05 - Next
Our next phase is to launch and scale Staybook's B2B travel business - a platform for travel agents, corporate partners, resellers, and offline travel businesses to access hotels, activities, attraction tickets, transfers, and experiences through one system.
With this expansion, Staybook aims to scale towards ₹20 crore annualized booking value run-rate by next year, supported by simple booking, competitive rates, agent dashboards, group booking support, reliable settlement, and API-based travel inventory access.
