Nishat Bagh
Nishat Bagh, often called the “Garden of Bliss,” is a stunning Mughal garden located on the eastern banks of Dal Lake in Srinagar. With the Zabarwan Mountains in the background and the lake in front, this terraced garden features cascading fountains, flowerbeds, and chinar trees, making it a perfect spot for a serene stroll or picnic.
Shalimar Bagh
Built by Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife Nur Jahan, Shalimar Bagh is the largest Mughal garden in Kashmir. Known for its symmetrical layout, manicured lawns, and water channels, the garden is a blend of Persian architecture and natural beauty, offering a tranquil escape steeped in history.
Shankaracharya Temple
Perched atop the Shankaracharya Hill, this ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva offers panoramic views of Srinagar and Dal Lake. Believed to be over 2,000 years old, it holds both religious and historical significance, and the climb up its stone steps is rewarded with a peaceful, spiritual atmosphere.
Chashme Shahi Garden
Famous for its natural spring, Chashme Shahi is a small yet enchanting Mughal garden. Commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century, the garden is known for its refreshing water, believed to have medicinal properties, as well as its terraced layout and floral beauty.
Thajiwas Glacier
Located near Sonamarg, Thajiwas Glacier is a mesmerizing destination surrounded by alpine meadows, pine trees, and snow-covered peaks. Ideal for trekking and pony rides, this glacier offers a slice of winter wonderland even during the summer months, attracting adventurers and nature lovers alike.
Gulmarg Gondola
The Gulmarg Gondola is one of the world’s highest cable cars and a major highlight for visitors to Kashmir. Divided into two phases, it takes you up to the Apharwat Peak, offering jaw-dropping views of snow-covered landscapes. It’s a must-do for skiers, snowboarders, and anyone wanting to experience the heights of Himalayan beauty.
Itinerary :
Srinagar (1 Night at House Boat)
Tour Guests will arrive at Srinagar Airport as per their Scheduled flight. Upon arrival they will meet Veena World tour manager at the airport and proceed to Srinagar city- known as 'Heaven on Earth.
Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will join the group on their own. The transfer charges to reach the designated place or hotel will be borne by the (J&L) guests.
Today we experience a stay at the floating boats, famously known as Kashmiri Houseboats which are designed with the local interiors.
Srinagar – Sonmarg (1 Night)
Today we proceed to Sonmarg – The meadow of gold. It mesmerizes tourists with its natural beauty. Here we visit fishing point- a paradise for fishing enthusiasts, we then walk through Sarbal Village- the last hamlet in Northeastern Kashmir, further we visit Sarva dharma sambhav temple.
Sonmarg – Pahalgam (2 Nights)
Today we proceed to Pahalgam. En-route we visit Kashmiri Cricket Bat Factory. We view the Saffron fields at Pampore. Later we visit Avantipur ruins. Then we take a photo stop at Apple Valley and Walnut Plantations.
Pahalgam
Today we enjoy a Walk & Click tour of Betaab valley. Later we spend some time playing in the snow at Chandawari. In the evening we have free time to stroll at the Mall road of Pahalgam.
Pahalgam – Kokernag – Verinag – Srinagar (3 Nights)
Today we proceed to Srinagar, en-route we visit Kokernag Botanical Garden- blessed with rich flora and fauna. Further we proceed to Verinag- the source of Jehlum River. Here we visit verinag spring which was built by Jehangir. Moving forward we also visit Martand Sun Temple- a spectacular shrine dedicated to Surya (the Sun) this temple is known as one of the most elegant structures ever built in India. In the evening we arrive at Srinagar.
Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar
Today we enjoy an excursion to Gulmarg - 'Meadow of Flowers'. We enjoy the famous Gondola ride (one of the highest in the world) to the second phase Apharwat point. We later enjoy, play and have fun time in Snow, also one can take up skiing and snowboarding activities (at own cost). After coming back to Srinagar, we have free time for Shopping. In the evening we enjoy a get together with our travel companions.
Please note:
Gulmarg Gondola Ride tickets are booked online for each individual guest with their name as per Aadhaar. Opening of these online ticket reservation system slots depends on the Jammu & Kashmir Cable Car Corporation's schedule. The booking of these tickets is done only after the Guest's booking and is possible only if the slots are open and if the tickets are available. As the seats are limited for each date and bookings for these are done from all over India once the slots open, these ticket bookings are subject to availability. This situation may result in some guests/groups not getting Gondola tickets for the tour. We will keep trying until the last minute to reserve these tickets. If not, a refund of Rs. 2000/- per person will be given on the tour itself. We will also provide alternative sightseeing without any extra cost to these guests if the tickets are not available.
Please note: Gulmarg is situated at a high altitude, which may pose challenges for guests with certain health conditions. Furthermore, for minors, senior citizens, and guests with pre-existing medical conditions, we strongly recommend consulting with your doctor before planning your visit to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Srinagar
Today we enjoy a small Trek to Shankaracharya Hill followed by the iconic Shikara ride at Dal Lake. Later visit Nehru Park and click photographs in colourful Kashmiri outfits (at own cost). Further we enjoy Speed boat ride in Dal Lake. In the evening we visit Kashmiri gardens – Shalimar & Nishat Bagh.
(Note: During the Tulip season, we will visit the Tulip Garden, as an additional sightseeing in our itinerary.)
Srinagar – Departure

Tour guests will proceed to the airport as per their scheduled group flight departure time and start their journey back home.
Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will leave the group after the scheduled program. The transfer charges to reach their respective airport/cruise/rail/bus terminal will be borne by the (J&L) guests.

Airline:
On group tours, we generally fly with the airlines that are group-friendly.
Group tours are based on economy class, if you wish to travel by Premium Economy / Business Class / First Class, we can arrange the same at an additional cost subject to availability.
During your air travel, refreshments and meals are provided as per the airline policy. However, we recommend you to carry dry snacks of your choice for the flight journey.
Transport:
For transfers and sightseeing we use small cars / Tempo Travellers / Mini or big coaches depending on the respective tour group size.
The seating arrangement in the coach is based on booking priority. Seat numbers 1 & 2 are reserved for Tour Managers and Tour Guides. Seat numbers 3 & 4 are reserved as Prime Seats which can be availed by paying an additional cost.
In case of small cars there will be 4-6 guests in one car as per the capacity and guests occupy the seats on rotation basis.
If you wish to utilise the vehicle solely for yourself or your family or you would like to upgrade the vehicle, we can arrange the same at an additional cost subject to availability.
Sightseeing attractions:
Given the current dynamic situation, some monuments or sightseeing places may be closed temporarily without any prior notice. Sometimes due to rush or changes in the reservation system, entrance to the sightseeing attractions may be unavailable; in such cases, every attempt will be made to visit an alternate sightseeing place if possible or refund of the entry fee will be given.
Hotels:
The hotels on tour are comfortable and have been appreciated by Veena World’s guests in the past. Kindly check your respective hotels before booking your tour.
Room Sharing:
Sometimes, two single unfamiliar travellers (gender - alike) share a room, should read the instruction paper along with the terms & conditions and abide by the same.
Meals:
On tour, we provide all meals, from day one to the last day, as mentioned in the itinerary.
In case of early arrival or late departure due flight timings, guests will be provided an additional meal/s without any extra cost.
In case of connecting flights, if the transit time exceeds beyond three hours, guests will be provided with a meal/meal coupon.
Generally, meals are provided in the restaurants. On certain occasions, packed meals will be provided for the ease of itinerary operation/sightseeing.
Breakfasts are generally Indian or Continental whereas, lunches and dinners are in the form of set menu and are Indian OR Indian along with a regional dish OR regional cuisine OR popular street food.
At religious places due to restrictions, only vegetarian food will be served. At all other places, meals are a combination of Vegetarian or Non Vegetarian food items.
